Ingram value in 12 team standard PPR-18 player roster

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Ingram value in 12 team standard PPR-18 player roster

Postby bob b » Thu May 10, 2018 6:29 pm

We recevied a trade offer from someone who holds the 1.08 in our late August rookie draft (my co-owner and I own 1.07 and 1.09) and who has the worst set of running backs I have seen in awhile; Ingram, Doug Martin, Mike Davis, Matt Forte,Wayne Gallman, Eddie Lacy and Adrian Peterson.

His offer was his Ingram for our Josh Reynolds and our 1.07. I told him to go pound sand as we already have Kamara, Ingram is suspended for 4 games and we are looking forward to picking a nice rookie RB @ 1.07 (right before he picks a RB @ 1.08)

However, I now am curious what Ingram's value might be; is it late 1st round, early to late 2nd round...what do you think?
12 team standard dynasty, 20 player roster:
QB's: A Rodgers, J Garroppolo
RB's: T Gurley, A Kamara, Rashad Penny, John Kelly, Chase Edmonds
WR's: M Evans, M Thomas, A Cooper, A Robinson, C Davis, DJ Moore, Tre'Quan Smith, M Williams, G Allison
TE: T Kelce, OJ Howard,
Def: Bears
K: J Elliot

Prior to the suspension, I'd say it was maybe a mid 1st, but closer to late 1st. Now I'd maybe pay an early 2nd.

If you can get him for an early 2nd then I would do it. I can see his owner declining and holding out for a late 1st in which case I’d probably pass.

I'd counter 1.09 + Reynolds. Reynolds and other late-round prospects are cuts for a shallow 18-man roster league.

12-Team PPR | QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, W/R/T, K, DST
QB: Kyler Murray, Aaron Rodgers
RB: Christian McCaffrey, Melvin Gordon, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Tevin Coleman, Boston Scott, Benny Snell Jr.
WR: Tyreek Hill, Mike Evans, Cooper Kupp, Michael Gallup, Christian Kirk
TE: George Kittle, Travis Kelce | K: Younghoe Koo | DST: SF
PS: Mecole Hardman, Tony Pollard | 2020 Picks: 1.09, 2.10, 3.03 | 2021 Picks: 1st, 2nd

I don't know....I think I will get a pretty good RB at #9 OR one of the top two wr's...not sure that Ingram is long for this league....

I'm not touching Ingram before pick 14. Lost in the suspension stuff is that he was asking for a new deal, is skipping non mandatory camp, and NO was hoping to trade him until they knew about the suspension. Payton always ships off guys that get out of line. He's in his last year in NO, and you get him one game before week 7, so he's not even a great 1 year play unless you are very confident you'll be competing late in the year.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I’d pay the 2.1 as long as none of the guys in my top 12 fell and be pretty happy
