1.07 for J. McKinnon and Marvin Jones

J. McKinnon $3, M. Jones is at $10. Fills some serious holes for me. I'm afraid of Penny or RoJo really hitting though, and 9ers drafting a RB (which I know may be great for McKinnon, still).

This owner is extremely rigid and usually refuses all deals. He agreed to think on the night. Do I jump if he says yes?

Yes I would jump on that. Good value plus cheap salaries=steal.

Opinions on McKinnon vary wildly around here. Some people (myself included) wouldn’t even sell just him for the 1.07, let alone add a solid piece like Marvin Jones. I think most people value Jones in the 1.09-1.12 range. I suspect even the folks who are super low on McKinnon would concede that he carries enough value (be it real or perceived) to swing this trade solidly in your favor. I doubt the other owner agrees to it, but if so, I’d accept it without hesitation.

I think that's a good price for players I expect to be quality RB2 and WR2 for the next few years. Cheap salaries are a bonus

These sum up my thoughts as well, although I'd change "most reasonable" to "lowest cost". Easy win on the players' side here as this screams rookie fever.

thanks for the feedback, was hoping to waking up this morning and seeing an accept message. instead he "didn't say no, and likely yes" in a text, but wants to see where the RB's/WR's in the draft land, not so much if the 9ers draft another RB. It may happen (likely not as time kills trade and I'm not standing pat). I agree this is one of the more reasonable askings, but goes to show how in love with McKinnon owners are.

I blame the podcast guys on DLF, UtH and cutting the edge.

you can get a way better pick then 1.7 for that package. that package should land you around 1.4range imo

after i agreed "so quickly" according to him, he shopped around a bit more, what he got blew my mind (which is why people say McKinnon's value is so inflated I guess)
