Fairly large trade..

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fairly large trade..

Postby Ron_Y » Thu Mar 29, 2018 8:49 pm

In a 2QB league I have Wentz and Carr which is a nice setup but literally no 3rd QB which has me hunting. I have received interest in Julio from two teams and these are the two current offers.

1) I give Julio and get ARob, Flacco, Foreman
2) I give Julio and 2020 2nd and get 1.4 and 2019 1st

I think they're both good offers and I am torn with which direction to go. My gut says offer 1 and take the good young WR while getting a modest 3rd QB for bye weeks, but my love for drafting (have 1.1 for Barkley and would use 1.4 for QB) is kicking in and making things harder.

Help me out community!

I definitely like #1 more than #2, I wouldn’t even consider #2 actually. I’m intrigued by #1 because I like AROB a lot and at least you would get another starting QB, plus Foreman has nice upside. I would probably do #1 but it would be a lot better if you could get a better QB than Flacco but I know they are hard to come by, so this may be as good as it gets.

I like both. If the 2019 1st is projected early, I'd take that. If not, go with the first offer.

I don't know. I'd be nervous about having Crowell as my 3rd RB/Flex starter with little depth, and losing my #1 WR without a solid player to fill his slot.... even with Barkley coming in...
I don't think getting Flacco on my bench is worth that much.
How many teams are in this league?

I don't think 2 is close to as good as 1 to be honest (knowing that you would be looking qb with 4). Foreman and flacco seem like added bonus for me.

I really don't like #2. The first offer is pretty solid in a 2QB league (12+ teams) IMO. In a 10 team league I don't like either trade.

I think I’d take the first offer even in a 1QB league and just drop Flacco. In a 2QB league, having any starter as your third QB is a win. That’s a great cash-in on Julio.

The second offer is fair, but it doesn’t really blow me away. I’d probably take it if I was rebuilding and the first offer wasn’t available, but the first offer improves your team for the present AND the future.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

How many teams? Assuming 12 or more, I like deal 1. I'm not any actual 2QB leagues, just superflex, but that should be a nice advantage.

#1 isn't a bad trade at all in a 2 QB league but I would hate losing a highend #1 WR

If you're looking for a sneak pick QB I would try to get T.Taylor I think he is a top 10 QB this year if not top 5 I really like him a lot in Cle. with them weapons I just look at that he was a top 10 QB in 2015 and 16 with really no weapons other than McCoy , Now he gets Landry , Gordon , Coleman , Hyde , Duke , Maybe Barkley they could have one of the best offences in the league , Plus Cle. could be losing a lot of games I can see Taylor having his best year yet.
