Blockbuster Offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Blockbuster Offer

Postby purplereign1990 » Tue Mar 27, 2018 5:08 pm

Was approached with a 3 team trade in which I essentially give up Julio, D. Henry, Montgomery for Diggs, Golladay, 2018 1.05, 2018 2.03, 2018 3.05, 2019 1st (likely to be top 5 pick) and 2019 2nd (likely to be mid to late 2nd).

Is this even close to worth it/what more would be an accept if not? Team/league type/current picks in sig
12 Team League, 30 Player Rosters (inc. Def./K), 3 IR Spots, 3 Taxi Squad Spots, Superflex with 6 pt QB TDs, PPR.. Start 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 2 Flex, 1 TE, 1 SFlex

QB; Dak, Mahomes
RB: McCaffrey, Derrick Henry, Chris Thompson, Foreman Breida, Clement, D. Washington
WR: Parker, Martavis, Kupp, Golladay, Westbrook, Godwin, Hollins, Chad Williams, Switzer, Carlos Henderson (IR), Krishawn Hogan (IR), Michael Clark, Austin Carr (Taxi), KD Cannon (Taxi), DeAngelo Yancey (Taxi)
TE: Engram, ASJ, Ebron, Jonnu, RSJ, Rico Gathers (IR)

2018 Draft Picks: 1.01, 1.05, 2.01, 2.05, 2.06, 3.01, 3.02

I’d be very tempted because you’re not likely to contend this year. You’ll get a good RB prospect this year (better than Henry, IMO), 2019 is strong in WR (good chance at a stud WR), plus Diggs is solid and in a year Golladay will be very good as well.

I may be in the minority, but I think Julio isonthe backside of his career.

I'm curious why everyone thinks that Julio's value is so low/close to tanking. The guy is a physical specimen that has been nothing but consistent the past 4 years and just turned 29. I don't think he and Dez are anywhere comparable in terms of freakish athletic ability...

I’m always one to get out early, but I don’t see IT anymore with Julio. One man’s opinion is all I can offer.

Part of it is Julio’s age but more so, for me, is that I believe the Falcon’s window is closing & they will be bleeding complementary talent. I just don’t think Matt Ryan is that good without a superior supporting cast.
