Trade Offer

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade Offer

Postby dlf_jaronf » Thu Mar 08, 2018 6:16 pm

Was offered in 10-team league:
1.01, 2.04, 2019 1st
for
Kamara (3 yr/~$4.2m per year), 1.02, 3.02

The 1.01 and 1.02 will both be 4 year deals for ~$7m per year.

Thoughts from other contract league owners?

I agree. Giving up Kamara and the 1.02 for the 1.01 is way too much imo.

Seems pretty steep to me as well, unless you think the 2019 1st will be very, very early...and even then I'd probably pass.

Piling on. The difference between the 1.02 and 1.01 is not that large. If you were giving up a mid 1st, it would be closer. But even then, Kamara's contract looks attractive to go with the production he has shown already. Despite feeding two RBs, the Saints have shown they are willing to shift their offensive philosophy to accommodate.

Thanks all! The additional contract year and pick bump don't seem to make up for Kamara's team-friendly contract, I'll pass.

Appreciate your input
