Antonio Brown Trade
Buddy In my league just traded Antonio Brown for Mcaffrey and Gronk. Brown was on a 5 year contract. I think its a decent trade. I had been encouraging him to get rid of Brown while his value is still sky high because hes getting old, even though I expect he will be elite for another few years possibly more due to his style of play. Gronk seems destined to retire after this year. Thoughts?

not close to enough...Gronk isn't long for the league.....and McCaffery is a RB2 flex at best....would have taken the production of AB for a couple more years....and go for the wins....

I would have stuck with Brown here as well. Gronk is hurt a lot and McCaffery better make a jump as far as rushing goes to make this trade worth it. When healthy Gronk can easily put a good fantasy team over the top but Brown consistently carries a fantasy team.

CMC in PPR is gold, Gronk when playing is the BEST TE, AB is AB hands down but trade seem to be pretty fair imo!

I can see if the guy getting Gronk was in win now mode to make this deal. I personally think that Gronk wants a new contract. I could be wrong but all the stuff leaking about him being unhappy about this and that. What makes people happy is more $$.

Seems fair to me. CMC isn't exactly just another pass catching back; he's a pass catching back with 8th overall draft pedigree who had a very solid rookie year while sharing the backfield. With ABs age, I could go either way.

very fair trade. might even side with the gronk side due to a high end youth piece along with a stud as a position with extreme drop off in talent/production after the top 3-5.
i also feel the gronk retirement talks are severely overblown. he certainly is not destined to retire after this season lol, he may well retire, but one off-season blurb about it does not equal sure thing to me
