Burton Trade

Postby jdomer2403 » Sun Feb 25, 2018 5:17 pm

With Trey Burton about to get a payday, would acquiring him for Josh Reynolds and a mid 2018 2nd be good value? It is pick 2.6.
I believe Burton has the talent to turn into a top TE given the right offense in FA.

I'd lead off with a 3rd if you really want him. I love Burton too (especially as an Eagles fan) but he's a career 3rd string TE who has shown promise in limited opportunities. It's a good time for a speculative buy but I would pay as little as possible.

completely agree...try reynolds for burton....then try to add a 3rd...then see if a straight swap of burton for a 2nd, then add in reynolds

i am pretty sure that if i owned burton, i would sell him for a 2nd round pick (assuming not TE premium)

I'd rather have the 2nd rounder.

I just sold Burton and the 2.04 for a 19 1st (looks late) for some context.

I like Burton as a prospect, but there's a ton up in the air. I wouldn't pay more than an early 3rd right now.
