1.06 rookie pick

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.06 rookie pick

Postby Razzy22 » Sat Feb 10, 2018 7:28 pm

The 1.06... Who are we liking as a solid pick here? In my opinion the top 4 are filled with RBs:

Barkley
Guice
Chubb
Michel

Who are the next logical picks? I have seen Ronald Jones and Rashad Penny here... Would you go WR at all with Ridley or Sutton?

Personally am looking for a RB as there is no clear cut #1 WR. Any thoughts much appreciated!

I like Kirk and Washington more than Sutton, but at this time no idea if I'd draft at 1.06

I’d take Jones, Sutton, Ridley in that order.

If the first 4 go as you think, I'd go either Jones or best WR.

I’m not sure we’ve been so lost as to who’s going 2-8 recently in drafts. So much has to do with combine, landing spot, and draft capital at this point for me. Lot of great talents though.

I think it's too early to put these guys into an order. It's my feeling that Chubb will fall closer to the bottom of rd1 while the WRs will be all over the board. I'm expecting Ridley and Sutton to be the top 2, however, that could easily change. There just does not seem to be a big difference at the position at this point. Maybe somebody emerges throughout the process.
The 6-8 players likely going after Barkley and Guice are not far off from each other. Right now, i don't believe anyone could argue much with your pick of personal preference.

The combine/landing spots will play a huge role in how the draft falls. I think you should get a shot at Sutton, Ridley or Washington with that pick. All have big upside as well as a couple concerns. Ridley seems to be the "safest" pick but time will tell a bit more here.

Too think if no wr went and you are sitting at 6 someone will be upset they didn't take one. I like Sutton so far from reading everything

I'd be happy if Jones fell to 1.06. I have the 1.07 and I'm hoping that happens, but I don't believe it will.
