Josh Gordon trade

Traded away Josh Gordon last night for this years 1.11 (11th pick) and the 2.11 (25th pick). It's for the Marvel vs. DC team in my signature. It's full IDP/superflex/devy. This will be our first rookie draft and the only one that won't be somewhat devy depleted. It superflex so the draft picks seem a bit better to me but I do feel some remorse just because it will suck to watch him dominate now.

I could see having some remorse here. Gordon is so talented as long as he keeps his head in the off-season. I'm not too familiar with this type of league, so hopefully it works out well for you! Gordon is always just such a question mark, so moving him is the safer way to go for sure.

I lean gordon, but I think its difficult to value him... hes more like a win now risk you take, while these picks are more like a win later risk or a more risk averse move

This...the trust issue is the same reason I would look to trade Gordon. I think u did ok but I could see having remorse. He still doesn't have a qb.

Same here. No faith in Gordon to stay clean. Too much risk for me.

I have gordon and I'd hate to do the trade and have him comes back to being a top wr. That being said i make the trade

it sucks cause gordon will almost always be a sell low but never a buy low. i tried offering him for any top 6 picks and got no interest, which makes sense, but id rather keep him for his upside than trade him for a shot in the dark. as long as you're not relying on him to be in your lineup every week, hes an excellent luxury to have. dude has legit top 5 WR upside

Picks easily for me. Guy has proven to not be trustworthy and i would be happy to move on for that price. When he slips up again, you'll be thankful.

This reminds me of the post in dynasty league discussion "a reason you won't draft/own a guy" or something like that. I tend to avoid guys that have had repeated issues with pretty much anything that leads to suspension. Certainly likely to miss the boat on some guys but I'd rather not add the increased risk of suspension to the normal risk of injury.
