Cooper Kupp or Jamison Crowder

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Cooper Kupp or Jamison Crowder

Postby skiptomybru » Mon Jan 08, 2018 8:48 am

Both are 24. Was this rookie season as good as it can get for Kupp? If so, are you trying to sell high on him now or hold? Interested to see where these two are valued at in terms of players/picks. Thanks

Nice post. These two are close. We know what Crowder is, and can be but you have to love what you have seen from Kupp as a rookie. I would lean toward Kupp.

I would need at least an early/mid 2nd added to Crowder to move Kupp.

Kupp > Crowder. I'd say Kupp is worth a late 1st or early 2nd, and Crowder is worth a mid to late 2nd? We've seen that both have potential, but I'd much rather have the WR in year two with Jared Goff and Sean McVay than the WR with Jay Gruden and god knows who at QB next season.

I'm not sure Kupp is that much better than Crowder, but if Cousins leaves Washington, I'd take Kupp pretty easily.

I like where Kupp's value is right now. And not speaking to Crowder specifically, but I would be interested in trying to take advantage of his stock. Especially if I can throw in that 1st pick of the 2nd round to get a solid upgrade. Even is the consensus is to hold, still always up to hearing other possible options.

I agree with most of the above posts.

Another thing that might be in Kupp's favor is that he's bigger bodied, so he could be able to withstand hits in the middle of the field better than Crowder, long term.

I don't think Kupp's value will change much at all besides increasing depending on what happens with Watkins. I'd hold to see what happens there and if Watkins goes then I'd expect Kupp's value to gain a lot. I like Kupp better as of now anyways due to situation.

Kupp has far more upside at this time. Crowder...last year was as good as its getting for him. He will be lucky to have QB play like Cousins in the future. Kupp is just starting out in a new QB and new HC as a hand picked piece. I think he becomes a top 20 WR maybe as early as next season...
im happy to have acquired him for very late 2018 2nd in a 16 team league.
