Was Planning on starting with the 1.02 and 1.09 for 1.01 - What are the thoughts on that.
I would prefer to use picks and players just outside of my starting rotation minus flex to achieve this.
I do know through limited conversation that he think he has to many picks currently and would like to consolidate.

You can start with the 1.09, and the 1.02, but I wouldn't move the 1.01 for that. If I were him, I'd be looking to bolster my WRs, especially knowing the RB's who are coming out.

I would debate moving A.Rob but not sure I could do that even str8 up. It would take a little encouragement on his end.

A. Rob and 1.04 might get it done, A. Rob and 1.02 will get it done for his 1.01 + one of his 2nds to make him feel more comfortable in the equality of the trade. Considering ARob is your WR3, I would trade it to land a RB1. Suddenly, your RB's dont look so weak anymore with Saquon and Mixon as your 1 and 2. Seals may also be a sexy name to throw in there as he is deficient at TE.

At this time I wouldn't move A.Rob straight up for him... the sweetner would need to come from his side. I would like Barkley but this draft is stacked.

1.02 and 1.09 is not going to be close. I'd start with 1.02 and 1.04 if you're willing to pay that, but even then it might not be enough.

I think the issue is he has 6 picks in 1st two rounds.. he is looking go move some of those. Looks like it might be hard sell to do with just picks. I almost offered up a A.Rob trade but can't seem to pull the trigger for I still value A.Rob fairly high. Meaning I would want more than just 1.01 for him.

You've said multiple times you wouldn't give ARob straight up for the 1.01, but the majority of people are on the other side. 1.01 > ARob by quite a bit right now.

I feel if A.Rob were in this draft we are looking at the debate we had last year. Davis or Fournette. The only difference being that A.Rob has shown his talent.

If you're not willing to sell Robinson as part of the deal, then perhaps McCaffrey + 1.04 would get it done.

I understand you want the 1.1, but it doesn't sound like you are in love with Barkley. If that is the case then why go after it. If you are going to go after the 1.1, you are going to have to pay for it. Late draft picks and "non-starters" aren't going to get it done.

I don't understand the logic in you asking what it would take to get the 1.1, and then when a majority insists Arob+ should get it done, you argue against it. You are asking for advice.

For what its worth, this wouldn't be a huge discount. A-rob has one great season, 2 underwhelming seasons, and an injury. He his future team, and role is in question. If he remains in Jax, he will be on a run first offense, that has discovered additional weapons and won't be seeing 150 targets in a season. If he moves elsewhere, there are QB concerns among multiple teams and its impossible to predict if his situation will ever be better than it was in 2015. In a startup Arob will likely be drafted outside of the top 12 WRs. Anyone drafting Barkley is drafting him as a bonafide RB1.

The other team clearly needs WRs, and this is a draft for RBs. So unless you are willing to move Hopkins or Evans instead I don't think your getting the 1.1.
