Whether or not he could have been a serviceable NFL player, we probably will never know. He won't likely be given a role like Tavon Austin with the same coaching staff coming back. Will he catch on with another team? It would be difficult.

so the consensus is send d. murray or ty. montg for ross? i have nothing to lose with sending murray and doubt he bites, although he thinks his team is better than it is. as far as ty - the pass catching role under the best QB in the league makes him very valuable to me.

for referance, this is his team. and i just secured a trade with him sending james white and damian williams for 2.05. in a previous thread, i mentioned that i had to cut 5 guys to get under the roster requirement (2 guys were on IR in Cook and Monty) and would have to cut them if i couldn't move them. he also has cuttable players and is looking for a 2-for-1 imo (him receiving 2 and me 1). As a side - he's the least knowledgable in the league - i've sent him guys like white, williams, moncrief, r. matthews, brate, hooper, fuller (fuller was an error on my end and was pre-d. watson but landed me the of package d. freeman)

Feel like Ross will be fine. At the very least, I'll reserve judgement until I see what he can do after a full healthy offseason program.

Hopefully, Lewis changes his utilization of Ross but that's a wait and see type of situation. Gotta give the kid a chance to succeed before you can say he's garbage, he's barely even seen the field. Remember when everyone thought Adams and Agholor were terrible and traded them for pennies...potentially the same situation here

Hard to have any confidence in a guy who was hurt often and then couldn't even make it thru the 40-yard dash at the combine without getting hurt.

I wouldn't give up Ty Montgomery or Njoku for him...maybe Murray.

Yuck on Ross, never liked his fantasy value. He's seems like a Tavon Austin type guy and those kinds of players have not fared well in the NFL. He's the kind of guy teams need to manufacture touches for and those touches are never consistent. Don't get me wrong, guy is gifted physically, but just seems like a straight line speed guy. I think people got caught up in his 40 time and automatically think that makes him a good football player.

Needing manufactured touches isn't exactly a bad thing. The #4 WR this year needed manufactured touches (Tyreek Hill - who also has similar athletic ability). Also, the kid isn't just a straight line runner, he's got agility, and will make one cut and is gone.

Might wanna refresh yourself with some of his washington highlights to remind yourself...the kid went top 10 in the draft for a reason ppl. Buy now for cheap cheap cheap and thank me in two yrs.

I’ve never been a huge fan of Ross. I’d give Murray for him, but that’s about it.
