team that John Ross is pretty atrocious, he is looking to rebuild next year with two first rounders (one his, hence the incentive to tanking - no penalties for this in our league). Take a look at my sig, I've made multiple deals with this owner before, landing me D. Freeman and H. Henry (traded away), what package of players can I offer? I'm thinking maybe D. Murray, Ty Montg, OR Njoku straight up.

He had a lot of hype coming out of Washington and he may not be able to live up to it. Give it time though he could pan out.

where do you equate his value with the "IF" though? He can be had for relatively cheap imo, but what's cheap? I'm thinking a high 3rd rounder? Or for a D. Murray or James White?

Weren’t there reports they might make him into a CB?

The outlook for players that can't even get on the field is not good. I would prefer every player you named above over Ross.

In a league I am in a guy just traded a late second for him. If I were trading from him I wouldn't give anything higher than a third for him.

you could trade any of those guys you mentioned for someone much better, who actually gets playing time. if you're stuck on ross, trade any of those guys strait but make sure to get a decent pick added. don't cheat yourself.

There are players I just stay away from. Ross is one of them.

Marvin Lewis is back again. Therefore John Toss.

I would equate John Ross to a piece of garbage you find on the side of the road

lol, seems unanimous. I don't like Lewis and I like the Bengals overall even less. Just was thinking may be nice to land him for cheap, but there are other candidates for that.

I definitely wouldn't move Njoku for him, but if you can get him for Murray and Monty, that would be a pretty solid deal.

Ross is not someone I would be targeting...he's overrated imo just because he ran a fast 40 time. Wonder where I have seen that over blown before...

This is a very interesting thread as a year ago I felt I was one of the lone voices who felt Ross was extremely overrated and viewed his future solely as a special teams player.
