Need to trade for decent WR

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Need to trade for decent WR

Postby skiptomybru » Thu Jan 04, 2018 2:31 pm

Looking into T.Y. Hilton, or possibly someone younger, less proven like Chris Godwin or Tyrell Williams. Any thoughts on who else to target? What's your price tag on these players?

compete next year:
draft Barkley of course, then I would try to sell a RB (Crowell, Monty, whoever has some value) in combo with the 2.01 to get a RB upgrade. then you already should be ready to make playoffs, maybe pick up a QB flyer later in the draft (mobile one)... so I would target somebody like jordy nelson, DT, Sanders, Crabtree to help you next year

tank another year:
draft Barkley lol. Sell every RB you have, sell Walker as well and get draft picks in return and pick up flyers. try to get a better QB.

I think his second suggestion is the better route. You have some solid guys to build around, and the addition of Barkley could make you an instant competitor (if you're lucky). Just do like the guy above said and sell assets for picks. Build build build

I'd try to move Walker to a contender for a young WR, especially if you plan on tanking one more year.

Thanks for the help. I'll see what I can get in return for some of those players. What worries me about players like Crow and Ty Monty is their stock is low, idk how much I can really get in return that's worth it. Walker, I can see getting a decent pick, but in the 16 team format, the picks beyond that first round can be such a crap shoot.
