^ great point, and one that I've tried to point out, too. I wouldn't even compare Barkley with the top-15; a more fair study would be to compare him with the trancendents that have come through. People that make the proven production argument forget how that elevated Doug Martin to start-up 1.1 status after his rookie year; Gio was crazy high as well. Most also had Dez over OBJ around here after his rookie year because of NFL "production," despite the evidence of talent that he threw out on tape. Not apples-to-apples, but how did that work out..? Trust the tape. It's not true with most, but there are just some where situation or NFL production just doesn't matter.

His value will vary from league to league with different team needs. Overall I expect him to go at the top of the 2nd or late 1st in a start-up draft. Last two years that’s where Zeke & Fournette went as rookies.

As far as people mentioning his situation as a factor. I wouldn’t care if I’m drafting him 1.01 & in a poor situation that means I believe in the talent. Unless he is behind a talented Murray like Henry was drafted, he’s good to go. It’s dynasty the guys who drafted Perine or Mack & passed on Kamara because of situation are paying the price.

While your premise isn't necessarily wrong, that's a poor example. A lot of people drafted Kamara BECAUSE of his situation, not in spite of it. Guy is a pass catching RB who landed on the best pass catching RB team of all-time. Perceived talent over situation is exactly the reason people took Christian McCaffrey and Joe Mixon over Kamara.

Update on my Kamara/Hunt for 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 trade. Just flipped the 1.03 plus 2.12 for Dalvin Cook. So will end up with Saquon and Cook as my lead RBs plus A.N. Other tbc at 1.02. More than happy with that, I think it’s an upgrade as I still prefer Cook’s long term outlook to Hunt and Kamara’s.

So Kamara and Hunt for Saquon Dalvin and 1.02. Not bad. The second trade helped you big time (nothing not to like there) but would still rather have Kamara and Hunt (even as a Dalvin owner)

He declined, which is good for him, but he's the league champ and the 1.1 would have otherwise gone to a horrible team not even in my division where Barkley wouldn't hurt me lol

I was talking with him and asked if he'd be interested in Mark Ingram, Jay Ajayi, Lammaar Miller for 1.1, in case he just wanted a full stack of RBs, and he politely declined

He said a 1.1 deal from my team would have to be Dalvin Cook, my 1.6, and then another piece. I'm a Viking fan so I'm biased, but that still seems like too much on top of Cook who looked so great if only for 3 1/2 games
