Trading away Evans

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading away Evans

Postby dox64 » Wed Dec 27, 2017 4:36 pm

Looking to trade away Evans. Want to make sure I get solid value and also have a fair trade.

How does Kamara and the 1.06 seem? I could also try and get Tevin Coleman thrown in. Seems like I’m selling low on Evans kind of so I would like some others thoughts.

Kamara, 1.06, AND Coleman isn't a bad offer, but I think you might be able to get more.

With all the hype Evans seems to keep, you can do better with a believer partner.

I am here as well, but still with a small margin to Evans. But could see a deal in that range

I'd take Kamara/1.06, but Mike Evans has been overvalued to me for a while.

The problem with this right now is selling low on Evans and buying high on Kamara. Wait for Kamaras regression on points/touch if you really want him. This trade could literally become extremely lopsided in a VERY short period of time.

Exactly this for me. Evans is more potential than results I guess. Only once in 4 seasons has he finished as a WR1. As a former Evans owner and current Kamara owner, I would not give Kamara+1.06 for Evans.

How in god's name is Evans THAT valuable?

Terrible, terrible yards after catch. Highly dependent on volume and redzone looks. I get that he's young and tall but the guys he's ranked over in a dynasty start up really blow my mind

i tend to agree...and now there are more mouths in town (Howard, Godwin at the end of the season)..
however, i agree with others that you are buying kamara high and selling evans low..
you could certainly use another RB or 2...
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

I definitely think Evans had a down year. He's somewhere in between this year and one of his 12 TD years. But as far as being ranked ahead of either DJ, Zeke, Bell, Gurley just because he's a wr blows my mind
