Mike Evans

Team 1

I've been offered Jordan Howard and Melvin Gordon for Evans and a first. This is really hard to turn down, and really hard to accept all at the same time. Thoughts?

Evans and it's not that close to me. Even take off the 1st and I'd still take evans over both rbs combined. Put the 1st on the other side and I'd say it's probably fair

I can see why youd want to do it since you would have two good RBs for the next 2-3 years but you'll regret it for the 7 after that. I don't know why you would have to add a 1st either since I would turn the trade down without it. Pass for me.

Where are these other 8, 6'5", 4.5 40 time, 24 year old WRs with young stud QBs that look to them for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd reads? Are there a bunch of other stud WRs that I've missed?!?! :D :D :D

Evans easily.

All I care about is production, not metrics.

Hopkins, Thomas, OBJ, Julio, AJG, Cooper, Arob are all pretty interchangeable to me....a young, stud RB is much harder to come by

I think the fact that you included Cooper and Arob in that group proves you care about more than production. Arob won't have produced above a WR 2/3 level in 2 seasons after this year. And besides 1 good week and 1 decent one Cooper has been unstartable this year.

Bell, Gurley, Hunt, Zeke, Gordon, Fournette, McCoy, Freeman. There are 8 RB1s. Don't seem any more rare than the top WRs to me. Only difference is that WRs last way longer so having an Evans will next you many more productive seasons than a Melvin Gordon.

Exactly this. The only way I even look at this trade if I am selling Evans is if he puts the first on his side.

If it's a late 1st, this is pretty close. If it's early, Evans side pretty easily.

Jesus... this isnt even close. Evans by a mile and you could put the first on the other side and I’d still say Evans. This isn’t about metrics. It’s about longevity, situation, and eliteness. And, sorry, Howard or Gordon aren’t in the conversation of a Zeke or Bell. And most owners would want Evans over either of those names.

There’s very little space between Evans and OBJr at the top. Takes a lot to pry 8-10 yrs of that goodness off of me.

No way I'm paying a 1st with Evans for those two backs. Remove the 1st and it'd be a more respectable offer, but I don't think this is very close.

Evans owner here and I'd have to take a long look at this trade if it were offered to me. I think if it's a late first it's close to even. That said, i also value Howard more highly than most.

1st is on the wrong side for me to move Evans

Without the first at all, I see it fairly even. I'd prefer Evans over those two still, but it's close. 1st with Evans, often a top 2 dynasty pick in startups, is not a good trade
