Which WR are worth 2 2018 1sts?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which WR are worth 2 2018 1sts?

Postby briank » Thu Oct 26, 2017 9:43 am

PPR

I have a stacked team crushed by injuries (DJ, OBJ) and a potential suspension to Zeke.

I'm still in contention, but I have an outside chance to win it all.

I have 2 1sts and I'm considering trading them for a good WR.

List WR you would trade 2 1sts for.

Or, should I hold my firsts and use them to move up to the top of the 1st round in next years draft? They will both likely be mid to late 1sts.

Can you list some potential targets on rebuilding teams, or just targets of yours, in general? And what does the rest of your team look like?

I haven't really started looking at potential deals yet. I'm asking the question to see who I should go after. Basically, I'd like to know all of the WR worth 2 1sts, so I have multiple options.

The question is really subjective. To get a more comprehensive and helpful answer for you then it would be nice to have the following info:

1) Projected value of the picks (early/mid/late)
2) A list of top WRs on rebuilding teams.

For example two late firsts to a competing team is not worth AB. But if it were two early firsts to a rebuilding team for AB that might just be enough.

If you can gather and post that info then it would help us help you. Just look at all teams under .500 in your league and list their top WRs, then maybe we can piece together the rest.

Very open to who your trading partners are and if they are competing/rebuilding

I would pay two for: Nuk, Cooper, Cooks, AB, Julio, AJG, M. Thomas, Arob.

Again, the 1sts should be mid to late. More likely late.

Cooper

One of the contenders is loaded at WR and might be willing to give 1 up. What about C. Davis, Cooks, or Dez?

I'd want a quality young wr, a Cooper, type wr that you can continue to build around. The problem is I don't think your team is a top team with all of the injuries you have on your roster. So if you can land a top young wr with the firsts go for it because it will help you long term. If you can't get a good deal I'd hold your picks and keep your core and keep building through the draft.

I would trade two lateish 1sts for Cooks or Davis. Cooks obviously has the advantage if you're looking for help this year. I think a lot of people would say Dez is worth it and that's the one he's probably most likely to give up for Dez. I am not a Dez fan personally but it does make some sense for your team if you like him.

I dunno, Wilson/Zeke/Freeman/Crabtree/Whatever WR he trades for is a pretty strong core. And both DJ and Woodhead should be back in time for the fantasy playoffs. Something like Wilson/Dj/Zeke/Freeman/Dez/Crabtree is a pretty strong playoff team, if not the likely favorite.

Just in a vacuum, assuming guys like Hopkins/AB/etc will be auto-rejects, here are some guys I would think about targeting that would be good for you and also might have a chance of being accepted.

Cooks
Hilton
Allen
Baldwin
Landry
Dez
Hill

I think Cooks and Hill would be my first offers (though Cooks is a long shot). Hill is a guy that can help you win it this year and is also still young. For many who are slow to adjust in-season he might still be attainable for two 1sts. I also think Landry is pretty underrated, especially now that the domestic violence issues have been cleared.

Before I begin, unless that's a 16 team league, you don't have a good enough team for me to rationalize an all in move, but assuming you want to buy and wont be talked out of it. First off...Baldwin is your best realistic option. From the list you gave:

- 2 late firsts (in most cases) wont get you anywhere close to Cooper/Nuk/MT. so lets eliminate them. if you got an owner to do 2 firsts for them, go ahead and offer deals for everyone else on their teams too because they confused
- Hilton+DT aren't guys I think will be reliable enough to sacrifice the future for (since we are focusing on this year)
- Diggs production is when healthy. but who knows when that will be. He is great, but hes just personally not a guy ill pay for because I just don't like how banged up he always is
- The leaves AGJ, Baldwin, Allen. That's not likely to be close to AJ, and you don't have any really desirable pieces to add to get it closer
- Maybe that's enough for Keenan, but I'd prefer Baldwin short term anyways. Start with one first for him, hopefully the guys trying to lose.

I said this is assuming an all-in move because if its not, there is no reason at all to sell picks now, they'll only go up in value
