Superflex trade: offer on the table

I posted a similar thread a few days ago about early talks, but the deal unfortunately never materialized. Since then I made another move (sent Stafford, D. Henry and Shepard, received Carr, Dez and Riddick), and now I'm looking to flip Dez, as I'm 0-4 and never really had misconceptions about competing this year anyway. I'm the only 0-4 team in the league.

Reopened the previous trade discussion, and now have an offer awaiting my decision (superflex, team 3 in sig):

I send: Cam, Dez, Diggs, Cobb and Smallwood
I receive: Luck, Cook, ARob, Matthews and Kizer

My only holdup here is that I have a burgeoning love affair with Diggs, but I keep trying to convince myself to be willing to sell him if the value is right. Is it?

In a SF, I'd take the Luck side. I probably prefer the rest of the pieces on that side as well.

Tough call, but I'd have to lean Luck side.

You're essentially trading 3 healthy guys (Cam, Diggs, Dez - Cobb and Smallwood do little for me)

for

3 injured guys (Luck, 2 ACLs :/ Cook/ARob and Kizer)

The Kizer added piece pushes it that way since its SF. But 2 ACLs and a terrible shoulder are no joke.

Yeah, I'm obviously getting an injury discount. But seeing as I'm not playing for this year, and in the hunt for a top pick, I'm a bit less concerned with the injuries for this year.

My thinking, from a long-term perspective, is this:

Luck > Cam
Cook = Dez
ARob <= Diggs
JMatt, Kizer > Cobb, Smallwood

He's also offered to throw in his 2nd if I throw in my 3rd, so I'm kind of leaning toward accepting despite my Diggs separation anxiety. Don't mind picking up additional 2nds though, especially in a superflex. I look at Cook as a necessary replacement for Henry, and probably the cheapest potential RB1 alternative.

Very interested in other opinions, though.

prefer the upside of Diggs, Cam and Luck are a wash since both are injured. Not knowing which Cook (Brandin or Delvin), but Dez is more consistent.

Dalvin Cook (not Brandin Cooks). Thanks for the input!

So everyone who's injured is a wash?

i will take the injured side...

not really sure why you traded young players like d henry and shepard for dez and riddick, but it may work out for you in the end

Yeah, I went back and forth on that one. Hated giving up Henry but people are willing to pay top RB1 prices for someone who is a backup and no one knows when he'll take over. Carr>Stafford by a good deal long-term, and Shep (my WR6/7) and Riddick are both toss-ins to me. Dez should be able to net me someone similar to Henry (Cook, Hyde, etc) and something nice on top. Or at least that's what I'm hoping... Appreciate the help!

I like the Luck side quite a bit more than the other. The only "losing" piece is going to be Diggs who may (may*) be better than ARob.

Thanks, all. Deal is done. Ended up getting a 2nd added to his side and adding a 4th to my side.
