In a lot of ways I think that's a bonus for Bryant. He's not the guy so he doesn't have to face the top DBs in the league. I'm not sure Bryant or Parker are really up to that task.

I'd also point out he has a better QB, but that might not be true for very long... a lot of uncertainty for both players there.

Seems to me this is about as close as it gets by looking at all responses. I have shares of both and like Bryant's upside more than Parker's potential right now. That may change if Parker takes this leap many have been predicting. If he does show something, I may look to trade him at that point.

So I guess I'm on the Bryant side. I like his talent and do believe him when he says he's done with the extra curriculars.

Both are low floor and supposedly high ceiling players. One of them is a misstep away from an indefinite ban. Pretty easy choice here.

Parker being stuck with Tannehill next season is just as bad.

Martavis for me. Higher risk but higher reward. Even as a WR2 on his own team he can be a borderline WR1 (more likely a WR2) while Parker needs to be the WR1 on his team to be a WR2 in fantasy but as long as Landry is around he'll be closer to WR3.
Not so sure it's safe to assume Tannehill is starting QB next year.
Or that Landry will be there

Parker.
Parker has the potential for the same type of ceilings that Bryant has with a higher week to week floor and no character/suspension issues.

I agree. It looks Bradford bridegewater all over again.
The dynasty community loves to trash on middle tier NFL starters for some reason like they are complete crap. How can you look at Tannehill from 2013-2016 and compare him to Bridgewater? Tannehill averages about 4,000 yards a season, low to mid-20s in TD passes and about half as many INTs. Miami has been a .500 ball club during his time as a starter which is maybe the primary criticism? Then again they were 10-6 last season. He's being replaced for what reason?

Skip, think you miss quoted here. My statement was in response to another's belief that Parker is doomed because Tannehill will be his QB. But, I'll still answer the question.
NFL coaches/owners/GMs, as a group, have gradually but steadily become "what have you done for me lately" leaders. Many lack the patience to wait on player development and many too are blinded by recency bias. Not sure the other side of the coin is any better. Those in leadership positions that ALWAYS start the vet over rookies are just as blind. Anyway, that's why I would't state with any real certainty that Tannehill will be the QB next year, at least not at Miami.

Just like it's not a sure bet Big Ben will retire. Odds are it'll happen sooner than later but you never know. Dolphins have had chances to move on from Tannehill but still haven't.
