Looking to move Cooper. What's his value?

Looking to move Cooper. What's his value?

Postby Tripwired » Sat Sep 16, 2017 3:05 pm

I'm loaded at wr and need I'm thinking of possibly moving Amari. What's his value in picks? I'm thinking he's at least worth a projected top five pick, but where do you have him? Ppr league

No way I'd only give him up for only 1 top 5 pick. Maybe 2 projected top 5 picks with another significant piece on top. And I'm generally lower on Cooper than most people. He's a top 5 pick in the latest ADP data. Don't sell him short.

Hes worth a projected top 5 pick + 2 more 1st rounders. I wouldn't even consider anything less than 3 1st rounders. Most people are drafting him as their WR3 over Julio and Brown in startups and rightfully so given his age. Hes the same age as the guys being drafted this year and has 2 years of pro experience already. Don't know why you want to move him but you need to ask the world in return.

I will still gladly take Julio or Brown over Cooper even in a startup. But I do agree, you need a top 3 pick plus two other firsts or two other firsts in value.

I would never pay even Top 10 prices for a WR2, but his value is his value, as absurd as it is.

Depending on how your league is wired in its biases (age/production/injury) I would personally rather be moving Julio instead of Cooper. Julio still has a few years of elite production, is a top 5 performer, and even though he is a lot older than cooper I feel people are more willing to pay his full value than they are coopers.

This ! Brown or Julio will get u more and cooper finished with 1000 yards to years in a row. Crabtree hurts his value for now but that's gonna change eventually.

Having him can.be frustrating but I wouldn't trade him for less than 2 first and a really good young prospect

Don't trade him for a pick. You'd just be hoping that player ends up being as good as Cooper.

with your depth at WR I can see moving him.....I think you need another QB...so a first and then whatever young starting QB you like.....Winston, mariota, Wentz.....and then at least a top pick maybe an 18 and then a guy from this years draft Forman, Perine...etc...

But agree if you can move Julio would rather do that.....but with Big ben and Luck...think you need another stud young qb. hedge your bets a little....

Even though he probably shouldn't be yet, Cooper seems to be almost universally valued as a top 10 dynasty asset, so you should treat him as such in trade negotiations. I would check with the DJ owner. Maybe try to package Cooper + Kamara or Cohen. It's a long shot, but if you're moving Cooper, you might as well start by aiming high.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

Great team first off.

Agree with the people who say to shop Julio or AB instead of Cooper. I would be looking for a QB (pick your choice), a top 3 pick in 2018, and multiple smaller pieces with high upside (RB/TE).

You have more than you need at WR but don't sell any of them short. I don't think you'll get Amari's full value.
