Too sentimental?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

You can even get the first and try getting a TE since you only have Etrz
He only has delanie walker so that's not an option...will probably try and trade Robby Anderson for 1 down the line

I'd take any 1st for Bryant just because of the risk factor. You can really make a valid argument for either side, but it comes down to how your perceive Bryant's behavior moving forward. With your group of WRs you don't NEED Bryant, which to me is another reason to take the 1st.

He'd be gone right now. He is very hyped right now, hasnt played in a year and could end up being a flop. Your team is stacked and you can further increase your dethrone with additional firsts. The flexibility 2 1sts and 2 nds is great. I think he is a decent talent, but I'm taking the firsts.

Newbie perspective: You do not seem averse to his risk, since you had him stashed for a year already, so that I assume does not count for much. Then, how soon is it to know more or less what's coming your way with pick next year? If you can be fairly confident there are some RBs that may help you out, then maybe that can help, but otherwise, why swap a risky but incredibly talented player in a perfect position for a huge comeback year for a pure probability of success? It strikes me, again, as a newbie in dynasty, that high draft picks are way overvalued. Kind of a stock bubble, their value is more their trade value due to perception than anything else, isn't it?

No I agree OR I woulda shipped him off the second I got the text -- I do think certain years (like this past one) it pays to stockpile picks 2017 and 2018 were slated to be chock full of talent. He never made an offer formally outside of a text so sent him an offer of martavis for Jimmy Garrapolo and his 1st (its superflex so we'll see...)

I would want to hold on to Bryant instead of having a mid to late 1st. It is a risk, but it is one that I would be taking. Did you get a chance to read TJ Calkins article, "Buy Martavis Bryant Before the Window Slams Shut" back in June on this site? It's definitely worth a read before making your own mind.

I would wait just a little longer to ship him out. You have waited this long. Give him a week or two to see if he puts up big numbers. That will only increase his value even more. Even if he only puts up pedestrian numbers, chances are you will still be able to get what you would get today. Only thing that would hurt is value is if he gets hurt or popped for another violation.

Hold for two more weeks (unless he explodes week one).
