Cut for Dede Westbrook?

Dede Westbrook is available on waivers, and I'm 99% sure my league will let him pass into free agency. I think he showed well enough to be a bench stash in my league, but he hasn't been picked up the last 2-3 weeks. Should I drop anyone to get him? Team in signature.

Unless you can put Meredith on a ir spot I'd pass on him. If not you would need to pull off a 2 for 1 deal to open a roster spot.

Tho he flashed this preseason, not sure I would pick him up over anyone else on your team. Jags are going to be a run first team this year with Fournette but Dede is a good stash end of bench type of guy now. Depending who else is free agent at QB could drop Taylor and play match up when Cam is off since he is a plug and play every week.

If you have an IR slot can you put Meredeth there and then add Dede?

If there is no IR spot, let someone else in your league waste a roster spot on a Meredith.

I like Dede as a end of bench flier. That said you don't have the roster space for him. There's no one on your roster I'd drop for him

Agree. While I like Westbrook a lot as well, his QB is awful and he is at best 3rd option behind Robinson and Lee right now. Golladay is the closest on your roster, but he has a much better QB and is one injury away from being a big part of a high powered passing attack. The QB situation really hurt Westbrook IMO.

Yes, I currently have him on IR. I figure I'll just carry him there for the season. I've tried multiple times to attempt a 2 for 1 with Moncrief and Perriman, but can't get fair value on either of them.

Would Perriman for a mid 2018 2nd be fair value?

Dede is probably worth a stash in most 12 team leagues at this point, but I agree with the others; I don't see anyone on your squad I would ditch for him. If I really wanted him though, in a 1-QB league I would probably drop Tyrod and just stream someone off waivers for Cam's bye.

Update:
I just traded Breshad Perriman for a conditional 2018 draft pick. If he produces >= 1100 yards and >= 7 TDs, I get a 1st round pick. If he produces between that and 800 yards and 5 TDs, I get a 2nd round pick. Anything not qualifying is a 3rd round pick.

Opens up a roster spot for Dede now.

I believe for week 1 he is behind Hurns as well. I grabbed Westbrook everywhere I could. He was way too productive at OU to not be rostered imo.
