This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Zeke Offer

Postby DinoDynasty » Mon Aug 21, 2017 1:24 pm

Looking to get Zeke from a team that is in win now mode, but can't really afford to be without Zeke for the first 6 games.

Was planning on offering Arob+Miller or Crowell for Zeke+Jon Williams or Arob+Miller or Crowell for Zeke + JMatt.
Do you think this is a fair offer? Would you consider moving zeke for either of these?

His team is below
Eli, Smith, Mahomes
Zeke, Gillislee, Hunt, J Williams

RB: CMC, Pollard, Foreman,
Sanders, Hill
WR: Kupp, Evans, Ridley, Dell, Josh Palmer, Hodgins, Osborn, Parker, MVS
TE: Kelce, Musgrave, Otton, Gray, Woods
DEF: Chicago Ravens

QB - Fields, Cousins, Wilson
RB - Taylor, Swift, Mixon, Pollard, Singelary, McLaughlin
WR - Olave, Tyreek, Tank Dell, Higgins, Gabriel Davis, E Moore, Mingo, Douglas
TE - Ferguson, Gray, Otton

I would not move Zeke for any of those, even in win-now mode. I'd look for something that would return a proven player and a young player with upside.

Would AJG or Thomas paired with Miller be a more reasonable offer?

I don't think that will change much. I don't see a big difference in value, if at all, between Arob, AJG, and Thomas.

That team is in barely win anything opposed to win now.

Maybe ajg/Thomas and Gurley or ajg/Thomas, Miller and arob.

Seems like a completely ridiculous offer to give three pieces for zeke. Zekes ADP is 5, AJG/MT are both top 10, your suggesting give Arob and Miller to bridge that gap?

Maybe I'm undervaluing but that's not a price I'd be willing to pay.

Thanks for the insight I offered Miller or crow +MT so we'll see.

That might be the guy you are trying to buy Zeke from lol! I agree, AJG+Miller+ARob is too big of an overpay. A top 10 player plus a young guy with upside should get you there, maybe add 2nd rounder as a sweetener. Anymore than that and you are probably hurting your team.

Edit: AJG+Gurley or Thomas+Gurley is still an overpay but likely what it will take to make a deal happen.
