really debating with myself on what to do with my picks for team 2 in sig. i have 1.01 and 1.04 and obviously need RB badly. this is .5 ppr and i can start up to 4 WR or 4 RB so i want to score some pass catching backs but have been thinking Fournette all the way at 1.01 until my recent film watching overload where i saw the other top backs all pass catching and fournette not so much. we all know the top backs get their running yards AND 400+ yards catching so I am wondering if the "he is a good pass catcher they just didnt use him like that at LSU" is valid enough to take him over guys like cook, mccaffery, mixon who all three look to have large passing down roles.
Thoughts on the catching usage and prowess excpected for Fournette?

I think he has the ability to catch passes but I don't think the Jags will use him that way unfortunately. I see him catching 20-40 passes a year max. Whereas some of these other RBs (mixon/CMC/Cook) could be catching 5-6 passes a game out of the backfield.
On the other hand, I do think Fournette can makeup for the lack of passing down work with 300+ rush attempts a season. Which most of these other RBs will never see.
In a 0.5PPR league like yours I would take Mixon #1 and then Cook at #4 if he's there.

.5 makes the value of them catching the ball less valuable and total yards being the biggest factor.
Dont over think it. I take Fournette @ 1.01 and Cook/Mixon @ 1.04 (Even if CMC is there)

Catching or not I've been one of the few that has LF ranked lower than other RBs in this class. Having 1.01 & 1.04 I would be looking to take Cook & Mixon. So I'd be tempted to drop a spot or two from 1.01, get a little something else while getting the RBs I feel will be better.

I wouldn't change my value of Fournette based on his lack of catches in college (especially in just .5 ppr). Having said that, I still have Mixon and Cook ahead of him with CMC not too far behind.
