Dak trade in superflex

Postby jwint7910 » Thu Aug 10, 2017 4:55 am

Team 2 in Sig. Had the start up recently and I went heavy QB. Several teams are short and coming after my QBs. Just wanted to throw out the latest offer. I feel like it is fair and probably near an instant accept, but I'm new to superflex and so is the whole league basically. I want to wait until everyone figures out the value of a dynasty QB.

I give Dak

I get
Mike Williams

19 first

Also with you having the 4 qbs you do in a 12 man
I already know there is guys in your league killing for a viable qb.

Let them crash and burn. 2qb league qb is the most important position. Especially in 12 man

Just for reference we had our superflex rookie draft 2 months ago were Dak was traded OTC. Trade looked like this:

Team A gave: Dak, 1.09, 2018 2nd
Team B gave: 1.01, 1.06, 2018 4th

Non-ppr league. I thought it was a big underpay for Dak, especially since Team B had only Cam and Bridgewater and was really out hunting for a QB.

Not remotely close.

Dak put up a top 10 season as a rookie QBing an ascending team and offense.

That offer is pennies for him in superflex.

I'd pass. Also, trade Rivers instead.

Gross. Put 4nette in deal still no. I would need a proven stud at another position that fills a hole plus the picks. This is a bad offer I would not only instantly reject but that would quickly some harsh trolling. They want a franchise qb.....Make them pay.

That seems cheap. As a reference, here's a trade I made for Dak a few months ago in a 14 team Superflex PPR league:

Gave:
Flacco
Landry
1.07 (turned into OJ Howard)

Received:
Dak
Duke Johnson

It might have been an overpay, but QBs were drafted heavy and early in this 14 teamer and Flacco was my best option.

Don't trade him for a bunch of dice rolls.

I was offered (and accepted) Dak and a 3rd rounder for my 1.01 this year in a superflex. I would Keep Dak if I was you...at least until someone is willing to pay over the top.

This is not at all as unfair an offer as everyone is making it out to be depending on the team that's offering it. Any idea if the 2018 pick will be early, middle, or late?

That being said, I'd have a hard time accepting the offer. Having QB depth in an SF league is never ever a bad thing, and trading it just to round out a lineup is usually a long-term black hole. In two years, when Rivers has fallen off a cliff, you'll be desperately searching for a Dak-type player. It's "fair", but I'd reject it*.

*If you are highly confident that the 2018 pick will be at or near the top, then there is more to consider here. The QBs coming out in 2018 might easily be as valuable as Dak right away, and you'll have Williams and the extra picks to boot.
