Superflex: Cutler worth "???"of $200 Waiver bucks

Talks are heating up and QBs are nice to have when the injury bug hits teams. How much of $200 would you put down?

Probably 5 to 10% I think. It'll be league dependent though. If one team is very short, they might just bid a ton to get him. Maybe look at last year's bids and see if you can see what your league does and try to get some insight into what would be a good bid to get him.

Haha, I just posted a similar question but in terms of a 2018 pick. I wish Cutler was a FA in our league, but someone couldn't let him go lol. I think I would spend around $10 not really knowing if MIA will sign him or not. That's about 5% of your FAAB that could potentially be a waste. If waivers clear after Cutler signs, I think I would spend $20, around 10% of my FAAB. This all depends on how many other QB needy teams you think will place a bid, but you don't really need Cutler as you still have 3 starting QBs, so I wouldn't go any higher. I only have 2 now...

Cutler in my 2qb league......who I cut .....is he worth my whole balance? Because of carryovers some people have up to $350. A qb is invaluable and it's 30 man rosters. There isn't much out there. For reference, hoyer just got traded for a 1st in this league.

I'm sure I over-bid but in one of my 2QB leagues, I bid one-third of my bid dollars on him and got him. This is my first year playing in 2QB league and I'm in two, everyone talks about how valuable QBs are, which obviously makes sense, so I took a big chance. From what I'm reading, Cutler is more than likely going to sign and I think he will be pretty valuable so I decided to go for it.

Not only that, but I'm rebuilding and have savage/Watson, trubisky/glennon and mahomes. He could start for me or I could ship him to a contender. A first is more valuable than $200 in free agency.

In my two superflex leagues. He was picked up for free in one by another owner yesterday. In the other one we have $250 FAAB and I bid $8 and was the only one that bid on him.

i agree...if you want to take a chance, i would not pay more than $25, but i would cry a little if he doesn't sign (i am a girl after all, we cry)

Now that he's signed, I'm feeling pretty good about my gamble. Like I said, it's my first year playing in 2QB leagues so I thought I would take a chance but I used 1/3 of my bid dollars, but honestly, there's not much at all on the waiver wire to spend on anyway. Now at QB, I have Carr, Brady, Savage & Watson, Hoyer and now Cutler. It should give me options, I already have an owner talking trade for one of my QBs so I'm pretty pumped.

Could be an interesting off season in Miami if Cutler gets that Gase magic back (although my avatar should show what I really think will happen). Still, I'm hoping to cash out BIGLY.
