superflex best ball draft

Postby AndrewS » Fri Jul 28, 2017 1:11 pm

Anyone have advice (or a draft plan) for someone who has never done a dynasty draft (especially a superflex best ball)? I'm the top spot and it's a snake draft with 12 teams. Half PPR with starting requirements (1/2 QB, 2-4 RB, 2-4 WR, 1-3 TE) with 10 starters total. Appreciate any help available. Do i take Luck first overall because the rankings for 2 QB has him #1? Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, take Luck and don't look back. Is trading back an option?

i've sent out feelers but so far nobody wants to move up...at least 4 have mentioned wanting to move back. One person offered their 2018 1st for any 2nd round pick. Wondering if i should take that since my pick will be the last pick of the 2nd round?

I'd probably wait till you were on the clock before making that deal. Either a very good QB will be available or other talent will fall because people should be taking QBs early. I'm going to guess that whoever is there at the end of the 2nd will be worth a lot more than a random future 1st.

Yeah, don't do that at all. I would say about 16 QB are worth a first+ and then there are all of the top RB/WR and Gronk. Maybe in about the 6th round that is something you could consider

A future 1st isn't worth anywhere close to a second round pick of a start-up. Maybe for a 5th round pick or so.

I would take rodgers 1st over luck. Doesn't sound like he's even throwing yet with that shoulder injury but that may just be a precaution
