Trading Zeke

Postby joeya2001 » Fri Jul 14, 2017 11:48 am

Now im not panicing that he might be suspended, I just think hes my best option at acquiring a better WR.

The owner came over and I replied id need a WR back

He said Amari Cooper could be had.

League is PPR, Super Flex and 2 Flex spots 2 RB 3 WR 10 Team league

His team is

Brady, Gore, Peterson, Evans, Cooper, Watkins, Gronk, Kelvin Benjamin, Cobb, Carr,

bench
Tevin Coleman, Gillisilee, Lockett, Grappollo, Zay Jones, Mahomes III, Njoku, and the other guys are bench fodder.

Has all his pick

What should I ask for back or should I just hold on.

For me it is likely Cooper and a 1st or Evans. If he isn't willing to do either of those then the conversation is likely over.

cooper would need some good toss ins like another solid player and a pick or possibly 2 picks. he should be willing to part with Evans if he wants Zeke though...theres no reason for you to help him form a superteam in a 10 team league where he would have without question 2 of top 6 assets in all of dynasty
team 1
12 team, 1 pt for 4 rec, 0.1 per rush
1qb, 3 rb, 4 wr, te, k, 4 idp
Dak , Herbert
Achane, Breece Hall, KW3Kyren,Ford, Miller, Spiller, z evans, singletary
J Jefferson, Diggs, DK, D Smith Puka, C Watson, E Moore
Njoku , HH, Engram

2024 picks
1,3,4,5,5,6,7 (all late mostly)

team 2
12 team .5ppr
qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, te, flx,flx,
Fields, Dak
Ford,Mixon, Javonte, Mostert, Chubb, Spears
Hopkins, Evans, g Wilson Mingo, shaheed, Jamo
Kelce,McBride, Chig,

1,2,3,3,5

team 3
14 team sf, even scoring idp to offense (rb scores highly too)
Josh Allen, A Rich, Foles, Rudolph
Bijan, Charbs, Spears, Ebner
J Williams, G Wilson, C Watson, Flowers, J Addison, Tillman
Kincaid, Kolar, Ruckert, Fergeson

Kenny Clark, josh allen, jaelen phillips, felix a-u and a bunch of fluff and rookie fliers at idp

If i owned Zeke and someone approached me i'd want Evans and a first which may be an overpay but i wouldn't sell for less than that. Additionally, the only reason i see to trade Zeke would be if you had the RB depth or were getting a top-2 pick in the 2017 draft (to get Mixon or LF). I don't think you have the RB depth to make a move at all...
Team 1 - 12 Team Half PPR
Start 1 QB, 2-4 RB, 3-5 WR, 1-3 TE, 1 D/ST
Total Starters = 10

M Thomas, B Cooks, D Hopkins, A Jeffery, Meredith, Boyd, Caroo, Smelter, T Benjamin, C Hansen
Ebron, Butt, V McDonald, G Kittle
2018 1, 1, 3, 4 2019 1, 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4

Team 2 - 12 Team Half PPR
Start 1 QB, 2-3 RB, 3-4 WR, 1-2 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K
Total Starters = 10

This seems like a very bad time to try and trade Zeke. I highly doubt you get Evans, even without the suspension talks. Cooper and a 1st would be a good return.

Someone asking me for Evans and a 1st in order to get Zeke is the sort of thing that borders on insulting.

You will definitely need to add to Zeke in order to get Evans. If you could land Cooper and a 1st then that would be a great deal, and, I think, reasonable for both sides.
