How far off is Hyde & Tate for Watkins?

PPR, .25 PPC, TE premium 16 team league.. recieved an offer of Hyde & Tate for my Watkins. I declined bc Im not a big fan of Tate although it did have me thinking for a minute. What would need added to move Watkins, or is this a fair offer as is?

Imo there's nothing that can be added to get that deal done. I wouldn't give up Watkins for those 2 players

I don't think it's terribly far off given actual production versus potential production. Tate has been good in Detroit, and he's still clearly the number 1 there. For me it comes down to how you feel about Hyde. If you think he's going to be solid in Shanahan's system, I think it's closer. If I was the Sammy owner, I'd see if I could get another piece or a pick, but I don't think it's super far off.

Even if Watkins gets injured, again, this season, he will likely pull in more value when he signs with a better QB situation for 2018-19.

Tate's production for the next 2-3 years will at "worst" equal Watkins..." if he's healthy". And that's a big if. Classic case of overvaluing the sexy name.

I agree. I lean Watkins but this could look a lot different in a year if Hyde lives up to potential.

Hyde is a chronically injured player. He scares me the most out of any player for injury potential. Hasn't been able to put a healthy year together yet. I don't think he can.

Tate is a solid guy but boring. He's also getting up there in age. If you could get a 2nd round pick, it'd be closer. But, Sammy still has top 10 WR potential. People are hating on him too much in my opinion.

Easy pass. If Watkins' foot is truly all healed up (a la Julio & Dez after a couple of years) I think he's in for a monster year.

Completely agree. Too many times we get stuck on a player because of college hype, draft spot, etc.

In a PPR league that's the MOST I give for Watkins!
