Full trade:

Team A gets:
- Robinson
- Bortles
- 2018 1st (likely 6ish)
- 2018 1st (likely 8ish)
- 2017 3.05
- 2017 3.10

Team B gets:
- Cooper
- Mariota

Thoughts? This has been a very polarizing trade in the league.

The thirds don't matter here so Bortles and a 1st for Mariota and a 1st and Arob for Cooper. I would prefer the Cooper side not a crazy trade though

Fair trade either way, but give me the ARob side. I prefer ARob to Cooper. If Bortles can get back to his form from 2 years ago, he has the potential to close the gap with Mariota. Add in the 2 1sts and the other picks and I'm grabbing the ARob side.

i also do not feel like this value difference between cooper and arob is enough to justify 2 1sts between them. I am on the Arob side. How many qbs do you start in this league? the difference between mariota and bortles would only be important if this was 2 qb.

I certainly have my preference, but that doesn't matter. I could make a real argument for either side. And I imagine that most people would have a strong preference for one side or the other because a lot of the players in this trade are viewed very differently.

In sum, no problems with the trade whatsoever.

Do you really see that much of a difference between ARob and Cooper? Is that why you think it is not close and like the ARob side?

Exactly. I don't think Cooper is worth that much more than Arob. Which is why I see giving up 2 firsts for an upgrade at QB in a 1QB league as not being worth it.

I think the Arob Side as well... I just traded away Michael Thomas, a 4th and a 5th. for Arob, 2x 2018 2nds and 1 2019 1st.

fine is super flex, pretty lopsided in 1qb

Assuming 1QB, I see it like this:
ARob >/= Cooper
Bortles & 2018 1st = Mariota

The ARob side is getting a 1st and two 3rds for free.
