I took Howard and the 18 firsts, but it felt dirty. I would feel like I need one of Barkley or Guice to feel good about it. I would trade White after if I could find another taker.

I felt that way too as a Cowboys fan. I just felt like the value was too good to pass up. Hopefully White can start the season strong and I have a nice WR2 on my hands..

I'm sorry, but there's almost no way I would have given up Zeke. Don't get me wrong, I like Howard, as I have him on other teams. But as much as I like him, his situation got a bit murkier this year with Alshon moving on and new QB in town, and I suspect defenses start loading the box against the former 5th rounder with an average O-line. Zeke is literally a true generational talent, working in a high octane offense with arguably the best O-line in town. To me, the trade boils down to Zeke for Howard plus two future firsts (White has done next to nothing so far). I've seen other threads where AB is valued at at least 3 future firsts and he's going to be 29 to start this season. For Zeke, he's almost priceless at this point in dynasty and I wouldn't be moving him for anything less than 3-4+ 1st rounders and other big name players included. Sorry bud, but I think you lost that trade.

Zeke still for me. Picks are hard to project. If you're wrong on the projection or if Howard is a one year wonder, then you're set back for years. Even in a rebuild I wouldn't have done this. Hopefully it works out for you, but you definitely lost a lot of value.

I'd have kept Zeke but only by a little. I'm not sold on Howard or White so that's why I lean Zeke. I don't know that Zeke is a such a generational talent though. Just a really good RB. Put Gurley, Jordan Howard, D Freeman, Melvin Gordon behind that line and I think you will see similar stats. But situation does count for RB's and that situation is awfully nice.

I got a few outside opinions before taking the deal and they all said that it was worth doing. Interesting to see thats not the case here. Oh well. Can't win them all.

My goal was to turn Howard plus a 2nd or something else into one of Melvin Gordon, Todd Gurley or Devonta Freeman if possible.

I don't want to beat a dead horse but I will. The only way I move Zeke is if I'm desperate at receiver and trade him straight up for Odell or Evans. That's about what it would take for me, otherwise I'd need Bell and a high-mid 1st. You've gotta have some greed with these assets, they only have their value for a couple years. When you cash them in you have to cash them in big. I've made plenty of bad deals, trust me, but you live and you learn. This was probably one of those bad ones.

The time of the year where draft picks are overvalued. I would've kept Elliott, though Howard may be a lot better than most think. I still like White's talent as well. You didn't get taken to the cleaners.
