Should I accept? Big offer!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side?

Should I accept? Big offer!

Postby dchurch85 » Mon Apr 17, 2017 11:37 pm

Hello all,

I have an offer for team 2 in Sig.

I give Dez and 1.01
I get Freeman and 1.03.

This is a .20 points per carry league, so RB score a lot. I'm pretty stacked at WR right now, and I could potentially get Corey Davis at 1.03.

Not sure if it's worth it though. What do you all think?

I guess this comes down to how you personally view Freeman. Do you think he's a legit stud RB? or do you think he's just good? I think I would make this trade and take whatever RB is left when you pick unless you really want a WR.

I'm really torn. I don't know what to think if Freeman potentially leaves ATL, or what he will be like without Shanahan...

This is pretty close, but if you're planning on taking Davis with the 1.03, why not just keep the proven WR you already have and draft Fournette with the 1.01?

I would do it and draft another RB. Either way I would do it.

I would pass. Prefer Dez to Corey Davis and Fournette to Freeman.

Close, but I like Dez as much if not a touch more than Freeman

I feel like you've probably given up the better guys on both sides of the deal. Dez>Freeman and 1.01>1.03. Coleman was hurt so Freeman got a lot more looks last year AND just lost his OC. I don't like it.

What!?
Or he can just keep his already proven WR and draft one of the better RB prospects in the last decade...

Now it's about managing the pick. Basically the third pick will more than likely be the leftovers of Cook/Len/CoreyD/MikeW. If you take WR there then to me it's a possible downgrade at both positions.

It seems to me like you could possibly end up in a downgrade at both positions. Dez will likely be better than those WRs and if Freeman takes a step back (I don't believe he will but others do) while Cook or Lenny become featured workhorses, it could sting a little. Best of luck!

You have good depth at the WR so it's a reasonable move for you, however if Freeman leaves ATL his stock could take a hit then you can get him cheaper. I say you sit tight with Dez and 1.01.
