1.1 start up trade
1.1 start up trade
12 team ppr
start: 1 qb,2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE 1 Flex
Was recently offered 2.8 & 3.5 for my 1.1. I currently have 1.1 ,2.9, 3.1,5.1 as my picks within the top 50. I like the idea of adding either OBJ or Evans, but the idea of adding 2 solid young pieces has me thinking this could be better in the long run.
How far off is this deal? Would it be outrageous to ask for a bump up from either:
his 2018 first for my 2018 second
or
his 5.5 for my 6.12?
Thanks for the advice!

Re: 1.1 start up trade
What happened to your 4th round pick (4.09)?
I like asking for more. I think I like the pick upgrade idea for 2018 but would be willing to settle for the 5.05 bump up from your 6th. Push for more. Worst case, you get your choice of DJ or OBJ or Evans. That works too.

Re: 1.1 start up trade
Just going off adp and choosing a high WR/low RB you'd be looking at B Cooks/K Allen and J Howard/M Gordon...but then, with the 2.9 and 3.1 you can still get a similar pairing AND Evans or OBJ. I'd have a hard time doing it
Re: 1.1 start up trade
I'd keep the 1.1 for that offer.

2.12,4.12
for
2.09,6.01
i was at the back end of a group of players who I liked and wanted to move up
If I were to get a future first, my plan would be to move it for another pick in the 55-65 area
Re: 1.1 start up trade
I'd rather have the 1.01 as well.
Re: 1.1 start up trade
That seems light for the 1.1.
2018 1st or something like getting an extra 5th and giving up your 8th may even it up.

Re: 1.1 start up trade
A startup earlier this year I moved Amari who I took at the 1.8 for 2.12, 3.1, and a 2018 1st. Given I think that was an overpay I would be wanting a 1st added to that package for the 1.01 or at least another move up or 2 later on in the 1st 10 rounds.

Re: 1.1 start up trade
So now the deal looks like this:
His: 2.08,3.5 2018 1st
My: 1.1 & 11.1
Does that change anything?

Re: 1.1 start up trade
yeah, it makes it a 100% reject. he's not giving up anything.
OBJ/Evans and Bell/Thomas is better than Gurley/Gordon and Diggs/Parker (according to ADP)
the 1.1 itself should get you the 2.08, 3.5 and 18 1st. and I think that's even light.

Thanks for the input. I have a bit of trouble gauging start up pick values. As it stands now I should be in position to land 3 solid players
Re: 1.1 start up trade
Did you mis-read that? It's 11.1, not 1.11.
Anyway, I think I would still probably prefer the 1.1 but it is a fair enough offer that I wouldn't think you're crazy to accept it.
