He says no. Has offered me the 1.05 for that duo, which I haven't accepted as of yet and likely won't.

If he will take that for the 1.05, but not the 1.04 he realizes the change in talent in the 2 tiers. I would offer 1 of your 2nds to this deal and get it done.

Appreciate the advice guys, I tried each of these offers and angles. He was close on Doctson and 1.07. He also seemed to be considering Meredith for 1.04, but he's choosing to stand pat until he sees where people land.

If I'm reading this right he was close to deal 1.4 to you for Doctson and 1.7, and was considering dealing 1.4 to you straight up for Meredith.

I get it Doctson was hurt, sat out most the year and is still got the nagging injury but give me Docston and 1.7 all day over Meredith. If he prefers Meredith over Docston then let him help you out and offer him Meredith and 1.7 for the 1.4, and increase it to Meredith, Pryor and 1.7 for 1.4.

I'd take either of those all day if I'm getting the 1.4 here. But I greatly prefer Doctson over Meredith and Pryor fwiw
