Update on Sammy Watkins

As an owner of Sammy I would probably sell him for any of the top 4 picks plus a little juice.
If I was looking to buy I would pay 1.5 plus for him.

I own Watkins in a couple different formats and am a believer but am getting tired of needing him while he is on IR lol. With that said I'd probably only trade Watkins for the 1.01 or 1.02 in this draft after that maybe the 1.03 and the 2.03-2.06 or something like that added in. I doubt I would trade him straight up for 1.03 or later though too much upside and he has proven that even with a not good QB situation he can be a WR1.

I know most people may disagree, but I think he is easily worth 1.01 or more. He is a proven stud that has been in an average situation at best. If the Bills gets their act together, or Sammy walks on his 2nd contract, he is going to explode. I don't put much stock into his foot surgery, plenty of WRs have had a couple foot surgeries (julio, edelman, dez). He is supremely talented and has top 5 WR upside. I'm not selling if I have him unless i'm getting 1.01+ or if you need a RB, I could see trading him for 1.01 or 1.02 this year just due to elite rb scarcity.

I'd move my 1.09 or 1.10 for him but needless to say it wouldn't get accepted.

I like him but told my league I'd be willing to move him. One guy interested and basically told him I'll move him for any of the following:

Cooks + 1.11
Cooks + 2018 1
Howard + 1.04

He may not bite since I just bought Zeke and 2.11 from him for Howard/1.4/1.11 but that's my ask which I won't move from.

I'd move any pick (yes, including the 1.01) for him as well. As a prospect Sammy still matches up against everyone in this class as the superior talent. And when he's been on the field, he's proven to be that stud talent we all thought he'd be. His only question is health. Even if you take that rather seriously, it's still his only question. Every player in this class has more serious questions about their talent, skills, translatability (we can make up words, right?), etc... and some have health questions as well. Nobody is a sure thing, but Sammy is the closest thing to it in this conversation.

Well, the guy who owned Sammy has been really persistent on trading him and is in serious need of a RB. He offers trade after trade and throws Sammy in as a hopeful trade tilt. So i figured what the heck.

I sent him an offer of the 1.05 for Sammy straight up and he accepted. So i guess that is a win.
