Parker and Sammy

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Parker and Sammy

Postby Peteey84 » Mon Jan 16, 2017 1:19 pm

Would you trade Sammy for Parker+2.06? I don't mind trading Sammy but I feel I could probably get more than that out of him. Maybe not? For Team #1

I'd keep Sammy, but there's so much uncertainty on both sides that I'd go with your gut.

I'm keeping Sammy there. Gotta keep the faith going in his ability. Their offense can't get worse with a new coach (I'm going to cry if I'm wrong.) The targets and health should continue to get better and better

I've got to keep Sammy here. I think the gap is definitely greater than 2.06.

He also has 1.7. Would it be worth countering with Parker and 1.7?

That's pretty fair. I'm in the same boat. Would love to get an offer for Sammy that's too good to pass up, concerned about injuries. I'd probably hold.

If you need depth, I'd take this for Watkins. Though if I had depth, I would take Watkins over Parker+the pick. Watkins' WR1 potential is greater than Parker's IMO

Parker + 1.07 is fair, and I would take it if I had deep lineups. I think I am higher than most on both guys.

I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

Sammy side easily, regardless of the pick. I don't get the Parker love at this point. Has the look of the next Michael Floyd to me. Heck of an athlete, but not doing a lot with that athletic ability through two years in the league.

I would jump on Parker and 1.07 as well. I'm down on Watkins as i drafted him, held onto him until halfway through this season and was ok to move on, got tired of injury after injury. It's tough because he is so good when he is healthy but i guess it depends on if your willing to put up with the rollercoaster that is Watkins.

Sammy has been a borderline stud when he's on the field. Granted, he's had his fair share of injuries. But so has Parker and he hasn't been anywhere near as effective as Sammy when healthy.

It'd take a high-1st (1.04 or higher) plus Parker for me to consider moving Sammy.
