I'd take the trade and get DT. Can't imagine the Broncos would go through another season of shaky QB play plus it frees up a roster space for you since you have to hold on to Martavis and Gordon. Not many weeks where you'd be playing Sheperd or Treadwell over your other guys so consolidate talent when you can.

I have no idea what Treadwell will be but everything I'm seeing isn't positive...

If it is for team 1 in your signature, I would take DT. It looks like that team is competitive and could use another above average WR.

Any other team build and I keep Shep and Tread.

To win now I would take DT even though the Shep and Tread side is more value ... I almost think you can get a better WR for them two though , Maybe hold out for a better one

I disagree with the idea that you haveto hold Gordon and Martavis. Of the two, I'm more interested in Martavis with Coates' lackluster 2016 and the fact that his substance abuse issues seem to be driven by mental illness. If he gets some help, meds, and learns to deal with his illness there's no reason he can't continue his career in 2017 and contribute for several years. Brandon Marshall is an example of someone who's overcome his mental illness to star in the league. Gordon would already be off my roster, and Bryant would last until my draft cuts to see if he's got his act together and is reinstated.

I like Demaryius, and wish he were in a better situation. The Broncos thought they could ride a dominant defense and mediocre QB play into the playoffs and defend their title. They couldn't have been more wrong and it was painfully obvious down the stretch. Unless you believe a year of seasoning is going to transform either Lynch or Siemian, I'd avoid Denver's skill position players until there's some certainty regarding who'll be lining up under center. They may be just as sad on offense again in 2017 and Thomas doesn't have that many years left.

I'd prefer the younger assets in this case unless you can parlay them into a WR with a little more certainty of situation. Besides, it's early in the offseason and entirely possible that you could shop this combo in a few months to return a WR even more attractive than DT.

DT, 2016, PPR: WR 13
DT, 2015, PPR: WR 11
DT, 2014, PPR: WR 2

That's the floor, and that's the ceiling. And we're NOT willing to give up a young talent in Shepard and a never-will-be in Treadwell (or, at best, two young talents)?

Wow. Just wow.

I own DT in a dynasty and I'm hoping Romo finds his way to Denver. Either way, I'd take DT over those two at this point.

Voted DT- as stated above- he's underrated. Wouldn't blame anyone going for youth though

Shepard and Treadwell for rebuilder and DT for a contender.. So the question becomes are you a contender in your league??? If so accept if you aren't would DT make you get there or still a couple pieces away??

It's really close. I'd go DT though.

voted DT.... Treadwell's rookie season has pretty much been a disaster. Short of coming onto the field and dropping passes left and right, this is the last thing you want to see for a rookie WR.

Really didn't think he was deserving of a 1st rnd pick (NFL) in the first place, but hey, thats minnesota for you.

That's Minnesota for you???
I am a Vikings fan so yes my opinion is bias, but since 2006 here are our first round picks:

06 Chad Greenway
07 AP
08 none
09 Harvin
10 non
11 Ponder
12 Kalil and Harrison Smith
13 Floyd, Rhodes, Patterson
14 Barr and Bridgemwater
15 Waynes
16 Treadwell

Out of ALL of those picks Ponder, Kalil, and Treadwell have been bad, but look at Diggs he didn't play until what week 4 or something and it was because of injury. People might say that waynes, but corner is a hard position and I like the kid.
Now how awful is this compared to most teams? I feel like we build very well through the draft and you simply have Ponder stuck in your head as the only Minnesota first round pick we've had.

I know this is a rant and I'm sorry, but I have heard this too many times on this forum and at work/friends and it cant be more wrong. RANT DONE! Wheeww lol

Niner fan here :(

I loved what Vikings have done recently in terms of draft picks. No one is going 100% and they aren't scared to make an aggressive move to draft a player they like. Believe me, things could always be worse......Ahem, Trent Baalke, ahem.

Sorry to high jack the thread lol
