I pulled the trigger on trading Gore...worth it?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I think you sold low on a team that looks like it could be a contender. A productive 33 year old RB had a place on your team. Do you really trust Dixon and Ivory until Coleman gets fully back up to speed as your RB2?

Agreed. You didn't gain much in return and you gave away an RB1/2

Well bleep. Im out of playoffs and I checked around the league and no one else was willing to offer anything. Figured I would try to get some value for Gore, thinking there is a good chance he retires after this year or next.

If you're not making the playoffs, I think the trade is fine. You shopped him around and didn't get much interest. Might as well get something for him. I'm not sure how the wall hasn't hit yet, but it has to hit at some point for Gore...right?

If your out of contention it's a good deal. His actual value is very different then what people will pay, so everyone says he's worth a second, but if no one will pay it.... Hes not worth it.

I just traded Gore for a second, and have seen in many leagues a contending team trading a second for him.

Yea I really wish I could have gotten a 2nd but other manager didn't have a 1st or 2nd for the next two years. I guess I could have tried to get his 2nd from 3 years now. Oh well, here is to hoping Jalen Richard becomes the next Darren Sproles.

I agree, if you were out of contention and that was the best offer you could get before the deadline, it was worth it.
You got what you could for a guy that is bound to hit the wall very soon. The dynasty consensus value about players might not be your leagues value about that guy at that time but if you are looking to move on, you get what you can.
Too many teams to list here...
