Cobb+ for DeMarco Murray+

I've just been offered this trade in a salary cap/contract league:

He gives:
Randall Cobb, on the last year of his contract
Drew Brees, under contract through 2017

I give:
DeMarco Murray, on the last year of his contract
Chris Hogan, under contract through 2018

Value-wise it seems like a good deal for me. But I'm thin at RB and losing DeMarco Murray will make me even thinner, while also making my already stacked WR core even stronger. Brees would be coming in as a backup to Luck as well (who I also have through 2017) so I won't see a lot of points from him. On the other hand, Chris Hogan will probably spend the majority of this season on my bench so I'm not losing much there.

Thoughts?

I think I'd start Brees over Luck, but I'm not that excited to step down from Murray's scoring to Cobb in non PPR. If you'd be benching Brees this is an easy pass for me.

I think you need Demarco more than Cobb. I also think Hogan is going to outscore Cobb, so I think you lose on that as well.

Thanks guys for validating my own thoughts.

In a vacuum I think the trade makes sense for me, but given my lack of depth at RB and strength at WR it seems like the wrong choice. Unless I'm somehow able to flip Cobb and Brees for a stud RB with another team. But that's a big if.
