Santana Moss and HGH?
Santana Moss and HGH?
"Santana Moss received human growth hormones from Dr. Anthony Galea, sources tell the Washington Post.
HGH is on the banned substance list, but the NFL doesn't specifically test for it. Still, Moss could be suspended by the league if they feel he violated the league's drug policy. He'll undoubtedly have to explain himself to NFL officials at some point soon even though he's not facing criminal charges. Patriots safety Rodney Harrison was suspended for four games in 2007 after he admitted to using HGH." - Rotoworld
This is obviously not good news if you own S.Moss, who stood to increase in value now that he has McNabb tossing the rock around.

The news report on ESPN said the HGH was only used in a very small dosage injected into damaged tissue in his knee after surgery. He wasn't quite using it like the MLB Sluggers.

This really opens the door for someone like TO to come in here. Think of how bad WAS receivers will be especially when Santana is suspended, and can we really count on Devin Thomas to make the leap? Its still really risky

According to the Washington Post's beat guy Jason Reid, that is the story. That's why Moss never tested positive. And in the "stop helping" category, Bill "Better Living Through Chemistry" Romanowski had a diatribe defending this usage. He praised Gallea for revolutionizing sports injury medicine. The last thing you want when trying to deny your involvement in performance enhancing drugs is Romanowski rallying to your defense.ccteam wrote:The news report on ESPN said the HGH was only used in a very small dosage injected into damaged tissue in his knee after surgery.
