12-team PPR (2RB/3WR/1FLEX)

DHop

-for-

AJ Green/Hyde

OR

2017 2nd

-for-

R Jennings

The need on my end is a 3rd RB option. Jennings would be mostly as bye week filler, Hyde could potentially turn into a weekly starter. So essentially, which combo is better:

DHop/Jennings (giving up the future 2nd) or AJ/Hyde (giving up Nuk)

I love Nuk and think he'll still put up great numbers even with some target regression

But I think I'd take this if you think you can contend this year, and even if your not I still might

It would be a win-now move being that I only have 2 valid RBs

I think AJ should have another 2-3 years of solid WR1 production, and Hyde (healthy) has pretty good upside. Not sure I could get much more for Nuk in terms of immediate player production over future draft picks

The only other team that has a win-now combo to go for would be Dez/Ingram

Take that all day long. AJ Green isn't old, probably still has another 3 years of top-flight talent in him. Hyde has a very high ceiling.

If you could get Dez/Ingram I would take that over AJ/Hyde. Having said that, AJ/Hyde seems like a solid trade. AJ is going to be a beast in PPR this year with potentially catching more underneath routes.

So you'd say go the 2nd for Jennings route?

AJ/Hyde seems like good value now.

What I'm wondering is whether Hopkin's value will get higher than this and what package of players you might get that's better than a AJ/Hyde package? Right now you're trading a Top 5 player for a Top 8-12 player and a Top 45-55 player. I'd probably take the deal if I'm confident it will help me win this year and maybe the next two or three years.

I'd go with aj/Hyde, next 2-3 year aj and nuk will be an near comparable numbers (especially with Houston bringing in some hot new talent at wr). Plus Hyde could be a 3 down back for a few years on a team with no other options offensively (admittedly in one of the toughest divisions defensively) as long as he is healthy. So do this, win some gold, then dump aj before he falls off, then keep on maintaining value :)
