Just traded VJax for Vance McDonald

Made the trade. I think VJax is a can't stay healthy 33 and Vance is underated based on his last 1/2 season production when he finally got the chance...and that was pre high play count Chip. Time will tell but there it is for everyone to judge/ponder.

Team 2 (really only have Fleener and still building the orphan team anyway too).

Vance is getting a bit of hype lately and looking good. I know he's a long shot TE, but I think he stands the chance to mean more to your team than VJax will. Vance also has better future value, and could have more value within his position. Your TE depth looks better with McDonald. Liking the trade

I like the trade. I took McDonald with a late round Rookie/FA pick, as I am hurting at TE too, but for VJax, that's decent value. Even if VJax has one or two more serviceable years, the hype on VM is for good reason. Just hope it doesn't get too crazy lol

You'd likely never use Vjax anyway. Value-wise it's probably close. Think I'd lean McDonald side particularly because I agree with your assessment and that he has a legit chance to start for you.

VJax can be safely dropped in most leagues so getting anything of value back is good, however small that value might be.

I like it, and not just because I've stashed McDonald in most of my leagues. I doubt very much that VJax will be of any significant use to you, and he's to the point that there's really nothing he can do to gain any long term dynasty value (he might pull in a 3rd mid-season if he's having a nice year). With McDonald you're at least getting a younger TE that's generated a bit of hype, is in line to be his team's starting TE, and at least carries the possibility of being some type of dynasty asset.
