AJ Green for Lamar Miller + 1.11

Postby theWilkman » Tue Jun 14, 2016 6:02 pm

I posted a few options targeting Green yesterday but the consensus seemed to be that none were any good. For the team in my sig, what do you think about this one? The Green owner came back with it.

Looking at your team, AJG not going to help you at all, Miller is still young, I say keep Miller and pair him with Zeke to build a stronger team with the hopes of playing for the money this year.

I don't like it. I believe you are closer to winning a championship with Miller than Green. This trade would gut your RBs.

I'm probably taking AJG here.

Start 1 RB and you'll still have Elliott, Ajayi, and Mathews to pick from. I'm a believer in AJG this year and beyond.

x3. There's no reason you need Miller, Ajayi, and Mathews to backup Elliot in a 1RB format. AJG is going to be a target monster this year, take this trade. Even though Miller is 3 years younger than AJG, remember AGEISM is the reason we first and foremost should value WRs over RBs. They should have a similar shelf life going forward, and AJG is the better talent who has shown time and time again what he can do in his current offense. He is basically a lock to put up top 10 WR numbers, with a good shot to break into the top 5. This is coming from a Miller owner.

This was my thinking as well.

I disagree here. AJG should score more points than Miller this year, and as other's said he's fine with Ajayi and Mathews.

Who are you picking at 1.11? Devonte Booker? Not like he's helping you win this year.

Think this team is a few moves away but could def become a contender if you are able to acquire AJG for this year.

Agree here. I think those preferring Miller to AJG probably didn't read your starting requirements. You don't need a ton of depth at RB when you're only starting one, and I imagine RB values are a little deflated in your league outside of the perceived top 3-5 players at the position. I'd make the move and take AJG. And I'm a big fan of Miller in 2016.

This isn't close for me at all, it's AJG all day. He helps out you're starting line up and you win on value here. In a start 1RB league, bye-bye Miller.

AJG. The format just skews it in his favor even more.
