Leonard Fournette vs. Nick Chubb

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Chubb. Far better prospect. Fournette is overrated imo. I think he's essentially Derrick Henry. Just wait until the metrics on him cone out at the combine.

I'm going to go with Fournette right now because of his size. I think that gives him an advantage in the passing. But if Chubb comes back from his injury better than before, I might change my answer.

To me it looks like Fournette is the better "athlete". Chubb is shifty, but Fournette has a little of that plus speed, and power. Chubb breaks out of tackles like the best of them, then I watch Fournette, and he isn't even phased by those same tackles.

2 cents from an novice. I think they both will be lights out.

Admittedly, I haven't watched much tape on either, but from what I have watched, this is what I've seen in both...

Fournette... Strength, enough open field speed to make it hurt, patience and vision may only be average... he'll run into the pile rather than let the hole open up, feet are not real quick... heavy... could be an issue. Certainly a beast in the open field... plays with good pad level, protects himself.

Chubb... displays good vision, patience, and burst to the hole, feet are quick and continually moving. Not as strong as Fournette, but breaks tackles. Good speed. Hands appear to be a plus as well.

With Chubb's injury you could argue the debate is now Fournette vs Cook.

So many good rb's next year. Between these two ill probably go back and forth putting one in front of the other and vice versa many times before this time next year. Both are very good top flight prospects. As someone else said a lot should and probably will change in the next year.

Fournette but if Chubb comes back without missing a beat then I might change my mind.

Before the injury, I would have said Chubb hands down. That guy was a beast. Not sure how the injury will impact him moving forward. Good news is, we have a year left to evaluate and debate this question. They're all great prospects, Cook included.

I feel like Fournette is getting disrespected, I have not seen a RB coming out with more natural running talent since Peterson.

How this year turns out will be a big determining factor, and I think landing spot may effect Rookie draft position for Fournette, Chubb and Cook. If none of them shows far and away better than the others, ideal landing position will make a difference.

Better than Henry, but yes I agree. Chubb is better if he can stay healthy
