Goff Vs. Wentz Vs Lynch

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

That's actually wrong. I did not conveniently leave it out, long-term ranking is the same order for me. Thank you for repeating that it's dynasty again, I wasn't quite sure I understood it on the dynasty website.

I'm struggling with his as well.

I think long term I go Wentz, Lynch, Goff. Goff might be the "better prospect," but you also have to judge situation. If you need someone this year Goff is your guy. Wentz and Lynch are more interesting because of their situation. Assuming both sit you're drafting production from 2-3 years from now. In that time Lynch's weapons may be on the down side of their prime, while Wentz's weapons may be entering or in their prime. Matthews, Agholor, Ertz and Randle (I know I know) are relatively young and should be settled in to the NFL by the time Wentz is ready. Sanders and Thomas may be showing a decline when Lynch is ready.

All three guys should be options for a long time, but I think long term I have to go Wentz. Goff and Lynch are easily studs, it honestly may boil down to personal preference and splitting hairs.

....Also I don't really understand all the hate these guys got heading into the draft

My current drama!

Goff is gone at 1.06 on my rookie draft and I pick at 1.08 with a clear QB need.

Actually my QB line is: Cutler, Sanchez. Meh...

So, if I pick Lynch, I'm assuring the 2016 Broncos QB corp and a nice prospect.

But.....here comes the drama: I'm an Eagles Fan! :D

I think that the Wentz's mindset is more suitable for a franchise QB than Lynch's.
On the other hand, I think that Lynch has a higher ceiling but a lower floor for the future than Wentz's.

I'm really torn....

Heart or reason?
Help me! :D

The plot thickens because you ALSO have a WR depending on who you pick to double dip. Either Sanders for Lynch or Matthews for Wentz. LoL. I'd go Lynch in your case. Ride Cutler/Sanchez one more year if you have to. Don't let being a Philly fan cloud your judgement.

But if we will win our first SB with Wentz at the helm, I'm done with fantasy football LOL

Lynch may have the best year out of all three of them if he plays. That defense will put him in favorable situations and he has the best weapons. I like Goff next as he has gurley and some decent WRs like austin, quick and Cooper. Tough division though for a rookie QB.

Question now that the bills have declined tyrod taylors 5th year option, does this move up cardele jones?

goff is a better Qb than wentz. hands down. wentz made some pretty average throws against less than acceptable coverages, no pedigree BUT pederson will/should turn him into a solid QB IFFFFF you can think that makes a difference.

If Bradford has a career year than his trade value goes up so they will recover picks that they traded to move up. So him having a career year helps Philly. Win/win situation for the Eagles. They get their franchise QB in Wentz and if their current QB does well they recover some of what was lost in the trade. As for who I'd rather have here is a quick stat: Every FCS QB selected in the first round of the NFL draft since 1970(Joe Flacco, Phil Simms, Steve McNair to name a few)have been to the Superbowl and all for the most part been very productive QBs. If your good your good no matter what school you played at plain and simple. Im taking those odds and going Wentz all day over Goff and Lynch.
I'd be careful here, Flacco was at PITT (D1) and McNair was slated to play at Florida (D1)...I can't say I've looked at Wentz' scouting profile but don't confuse the fact that since those two guys above played at lesser schools that they weren't D1 talents already.

I think Flacco is a decent comp for Wentz. But for all Flacco's playoff heroics, he's never been a particularly good fantasy QB. He's the QB27 on DLF right now. Personally, I think Wentz is going to be a disappointment. From what I've heard, his school was a powerhouse and they were destroying their competition even when Wentz was out with injury. He has the attributes that coaches fall in love with (height, weight, mobility, arm strength, intangibles) but he has no anticipatory accuracy. He's used to throwing to wide open WRs and never led them open with his throws. These "see-it, throw-it" QBs are usually easy to figure for defenses to out (Kaepernick). He also has slow footwork in the pocket and struggles to diagnose coverage or quickly move through progressions.
