I just completed a trade for D. Green-Beckham for the team in my signature.

Gave up Karlos Williams, 2.04 (2016), & 1st (2018)

Thoughts?

One of those rare occasions that I'd prefer the pieces. RB seems to be your weakness and giving away Karlos isn't going to help.

DGB is all upside. You bought on upside not production, which I don't pay for. K williams and the 2nd should have been close to enough. The 1st wasnt needed for sure.

I'm not a big DGB lover, but if you have paid attention to these boards (and I'm guessing you have), he's got more than enough love. I've heard a pretty hard consensus suggest he's worth 1.3 in this draft. If that's true, your trade is probably just fine considering everyone always says take the upside WR over RB. I agree that the first probably wasn't necessary but it's down the line a ways so you may be able to recoup that before the time comes. RBs like Karlos can be found pretty regularly and 2.4 won't be terribly valuable. I think the draft drops off in 1QB leagues around there. Yes, you need RB but I don't think it was a bad move.

I think you did good in this trade. You traded a backup RB, 2.04 and a 1st that is two years away for him. Essentially you gave 3 sweeteners with no real substance.

Love it for you. Karlos and the 2nd have limited value. The cost to acquire DGB in most leagues will be higher.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

i like it as well. i would have liked it more if you would have negotiated a lower pick back like a 2018 2nd or 3rd...but overall, i would rather have DGB.
