I would take that. Baldwin should carry decent value right now.

Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
Come end of next season this will be a 31 year old RB about to steep decline and be untradable, Baldwin will be back to a WR3, and then Zeke or Treadwell, vs freshly 29 year old DT coming off a season with around 85/1200/7.
You're buying some assets high for what they are (AP/Baldwin) and then a high pick you hope to hit on for a guy who's getting killed in value the past few weeks despite solid production this year with mediocre QB play.
I can see the debate, I'm just saying it is not as lopsided as the above portray it to be. The assets coming back aren't great IMO outside the 1.02. You better bank on winning next season with AP.

Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
I still think DT has gas in the tank, no matter who is throwing to him, but that's a good trade. You get short-term help at RB, a maybe he plays like end of season hope in Baldwin, but you'll also have the 1.02 and 1.04 which could net you Zeke and Boyd which seems a win in the long run.

Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
Except the 1.04 isn't part of this deal...I don't think you factor that into the equation of this offer itself.
Though I don't think the deal itself is awful, I'm interested in the following questions:
1. How many more productive seasons do you expect from Peterson?
2. What do you expect from Baldwin going forward (estimate of stats or WR1/2/3/4)?
3. What do you expect from DT the next three seasons as an annual average (30 and younger years)?

Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
I personally don't like Baldwin at all, but you need RB help pretty badly here. So I'd take Peterson & hopefully you can draft Zeke or another RB at 1.02 and you'll fix your RB issue.KeepCalmandDynasty wrote:Offer that is on the table. Here is my team. Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
I don't think your team is really a contender next year given your roster. If I were you, I would do that trade, but then I would look to sell AP and Baldwin ASAP to a contending roster. Maybe even reach out to a couple of contending teams beforehand and see if they'd be interested in either to get an idea of whether you could flip them for good value if you make this trade.

Re: Trade DT for Peterson/1.02/Baldwin
I would keep DT. I'm not quite grasping why everyone is so down on him.
Peterson is in his 30's.
Baldwin is solid, but could be a sell high.
1.02 is a nice piece.
I'd much rather have the proven WR1 still in his prime
