Dez vs Arob

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Dez vs Arob

Trade on the table. Which player is more valuable? Dez or Arob straight up?

Gimme Robinson, and I didn't have to think about it that long.

In a vacuum, Dez. He's done what A-Rob just did on numerous occasions. That being said, A-Rob is considerably younger, so in a dyno many will view ARob as the better value. Dez's value is at it's lowest in a long time but I think it will snap back pretty quickly; had he not been hurt this year he would be in that top 5 discussion along with Julio, AB, OBJ and Nuk. Pre-2015 season teh discussion was between him and Julio for 1.01 in a start-up (with some OBJ sprinkled in). ARob's value, on the other hand, is at an all time high, and could get higher, but is likely going to stay where it is for a while. Ultimately need to see your team.

I want A Rob 6 years younger and Dez does not have the best injury history

If I own Dez I would trade him straight for Arob, but this is probably a rare occurrence. If you're the Dez owner, then I'd make the trade

I think at this point Arob is the choice, this isn't to take away form Dez's talent but Robinson looked elite at times this season and is younger than Dez.

As an owner of both, I would probably lean Dez. I love Arob (like everyone else), but I just don't think Dez has fallen that hard. It's close.

ARob. Equally as elite production wise IMO and younger. Even if his TD numbers drop slightly, he only caught around 75 passes I believe. In a PPR league, if he loses a couple TDs but gains 10-15 more catches and the accompanying yardage its a wash. I don't think we've seen ARob's ceiling yet, even with all those TDs.

Dez with a healthy Romo in my opinion is the clear choice, the problem is the healthy Romo portion....
For the next two years I think it's Dez, because when he and Romo are healthy you can basically book a season of 90/1300/15 which is hard to beat. Robinson had a very good season but Dez has gotten better every single year until this one due only to injury's. I think he has 3 ELITE years left just have to hope Romo does too

That's a fair bit of hoping so that's why I think a lot of us want the age insulation

Arob. 22 going on 23, high upside, good young supporting cast. Great ball skills and big play ability.

Cowboys fan here, I'd take Robinson over Dez. Robinson has drawn Dez comparisons & has better character than him as well. Robinson Also seems to be targeted/used more in their offense on a consistent basis. I think they are very close, maybe one or two spots in my WR rankings, but give me Robinson.

Dez is more talented in my opinion. He will be more elite than Robinson over the next 2-3 years. Robinson has youth on his side but i'd still take Dez pretty easily here. Dez simply has the ability to make plays that Robinson can't and I like Romo much more than Bortles even if its only short term.
