Re: Should I trade Gurley...
i wouldnt, but i believe tate, aiken, and crowder are all serviceable wr's going forward. i also believe gurley is more valuable than that offer in most owners eyes...reguardless of how you feel about your team.
Re: Should I trade Gurley...
I also think you could get another piece if you really wanted to trade him.

Re: Should I trade Gurley...
Oh man this is a tough one I think. I already traded Gurley for Gronk, so I guess I might have some bias in this trade.
So the way I look at this, I really like Zeke, I think he has the potential to be a true 3-down back because he does everything well. He's not great at any one thing, but really good at almost everything. He can run between the tackles and outside the tackles, has great burst through the hole. He can catch and run good routes out of the back field, and can lineup split outside. His routes on the outside aren't superior of course, but if he's matched up on a LB he could make a play. People say his vision is okay at best, but I've watched him every Saturday for the past two years and he is something special, but so is Todd Gurley. Gurley has already shown just some of what he can do, so at this point he is a proven commodity. I can't say that I think Zeke will out perform him because zeke hasn't shown jack squat. But we are looking for those "3 down" guys that catch out of the back field. Because I had a post earlier, that those guys going back to 2007 are usually the top 3 or so RBs come years end. Could Gurley get more involved in the passing game, absolutely. Also as of right now the other thing is we have no clue where zeke and treadwell could land. But it can't get much worse than Gurley's situation down there in STL haha (no qb and a stacked box every play, and "top end" defenses 6 times a year).
I would assume you'd take treadwell as the other peice, or maybe double RB with Henry, or who you scout as the #2 back? I haven't seen much on Treadwell, people speak highly about him and others say he's just meh. I THINK this would be a fair deal probably not the BEST deal for Gurley, but if you hit on both picks you can come out on top. By the looks of your roster though you are in win now mode. So I'd probably go with Gurley.

Re: Should I trade Gurley...
1.01, in my book, is Treadwell. So I'd be doing this deal with the presumption that I'm taking Treadwell and Zeke. I agree that it still feels like I'd want something just a little more on the deal.

Re: Should I trade Gurley...
A lot depends on where Zeke ends up honestly. If he goes to a good landing spot it is 1.01 (Treadwell) and 1.02 >> Gurley. If Zeke doesn't go to a good spot... then I see this as a push.

Re: Should I trade Gurley...
Hmmm, close but I'd have to lean Gurley. Treadwell and Zeke have a higher-than-most chance at success but they are still unproven and Gurley just showed he doesn't need a good QB, O-line or offense to be successful. He may be the only RB in the league besides AP that could do what he did this year in that offense. There aren;t many Players that are situation proof but Gurley looks like he is.

I like the offer if I hold Gurley because it means someone is willing to pay adequate value. But I'd need a touch more.
